The new article about genetic studies of Tiwanaku inhabitants have been relace in Science Advances. The research was conduct in cooperation between the Centre for Andean Studies and Centre of New Technologies, University of Warsaw, Ministry of Culture Bolivia, Institute of Max Planck Leipzig, and Harvard Medical School.

On August 11, a meeting between representants of the Centre for Andean Studies, director Mariusz Ziółkowski and vice director Dominika Sieczkowska and the authority of Universidad Nacional de San Antonio Abad del Cusco, Vicerector of Investigation Leoncio Roberto Acurio Canal took place.

On December 18, 2021 took place the opening of the exhibition "Beyond the visible. Remote sensing and laser scanning in the Peruvian-Polish-Italian research at Machupicchu" at the Site Museum and Archaeological Sanctuary of Pachacamac.
